Comprehensive Screener I am wondering if anyone knows of a screener that is specific enough to search for stocks based on the criteria of NCAV/P ((current assets-current liabilities)/Price). Basically, I'd like one where you can define your own ratios from elements within the balance sheet and earnings statement. I have tried a screener from businessweek.com and yahoo! free screener, but neither is specific enough. I am also interested in backtesting over multiple years. I expect that this kind of screener would not be free and am wondering if one is available at a reasonable price.
Thanks for your help,

Hi gfprice,
I am not aware of any low priced database that would allow back testing of historical data.
For example, this article mentioned that that kind of database would cost $100,000 a year:

Once the database is there, implementing data mining using NCAV critieria actually is not very challenging issue. |
