Semi conductor business is extremely cyclical business. In my opinion, the whole semi sector should be avoided for value oriented long term investors. The risk/reward are not attractive. PE alone over past 1 year earning is not reliable indication of value for cyclical stocks. Forward PE is even worse metrics, which is based on Wall Street analyst's projection of next year earning.
