AWX & HDL These two stocks are recently added to aaii's shadow potofolios. Are they interesting?
The reason that I want to ask is that previously aaii also picked GETI and sold it recently. |

Please advise who is aaii? Where can I find info regrading him/her and his/her picks? Thanks! |

Re: AWX & HDL HDL is not attractive stock, not nice balance sheet, bad business model, lots of insider selling.
AWX is attractive. A value fund is buying lots of shares of this stock. Business model sounds dull, but that is great sign for potential value. I still don't know much about it, but it has potential to be good value pick.

Re: AWX & HDL Blast,
There is something I don't quite understand about AWX. In the yahoo key statistic pages, the market cap is 21 M while enterprise value is only 9.21 M. As I understand,
enterprise value = market cap + maket value of debt ( such as preferred stock and bonds).
How come enterprise value is smaller than market cap? Is it that the cash in hand is not counted into enterprise value?

Re: AWX & HDL Cash is deducted in the calculation. Yahoo is correct in that sense.
enterprise value = market cap + maket value of debt ( such as preferred stock and bonds) - cash.
In corporate acquistion and merger world, buyers always have to pay for the cash in the balance sheet. |

Re: AWX & HDL Thanks Blast. For a $5.5 with $3 cash, it is pretty interesting.
