Hi All
Hi,i'm a private investor based in the UK.I trade mainly in UK individual stocks but i do have 40% of my pension plan tied up in U.S. investments so i follow the markets quite keenly.

I've been investing now for around 25 years so the fact i'm still doing it tells you i still get plenty of pleasure from it.My main approach is one of long term buy and hold usually in stocks bought at the bottom of their trading range(if i can get it right!).I do however have quite a few smaller holdings in my portfolio that are small cap stocks with growth potential.The hope is that these stocks perform well over the short term to give my portfolio a boost.

At present i can't find a lot of UK stocks with good value potential so most of my trading recently has been in the small cap area where recently i've had a lot of success.

Most days i post in the UK on a site called TheShareTrader.co.uk(no links,i'm not touting for members).It's not got a lot of active members but it's quality not quantity that counts.

I hope that over time i will be able to make an active contribution to the site.I just hope you understand some of the terms i use.
