CHC?

CHC?
Just noticed the insiders have been buying tons of shares and even though the latest financials are pretty crummy they appear to have had average EPS over the last 10 years of around 1 so they may be undervalued based on some over-reaction of the crowd due to the recent earnings report and the insiders feel the same.

Any thoughts on this?

This probably is due to concern of sub-prime mortgage trouble.

Not all banks/mortgage issues are in sub-prime trouble. There could be gems there in this sector.

on the other hand, this mortgage issue is still trading above book value, the yield of 9% is not terribly attractive.

This probably in fair value ground, but not a great bargain in my opinion.
