Introducing myself and saying hello! I have invested in stocks for years but not necessarily a seasoned investor. Certainly not a short term invester. I am conservative, but could be aggressive. In the past I have believed in long term holds of sound companies. Now I am looking forward to long term holds of "value" company stocks. Thanks.

I am still a student in school, major in chemistry. Two years ago, I read a book--<poor dad, rich dad>, then I became changed from ignorance to concerning of money. Acturally ,though that book---<rich dad> said nothing about investment, forturately I got clue to Peter Lynch's books from it, next, Graham's, Fisher's books. Investment is mcuh related with coporation management, so, I also bought some manamement books to read, which are the 20 best business books chosen by Forbes.
I didn't do the short trade, day-trader, future, and options before, never I belive in them. I began from just long term, value investment. Maybe It is because I am a conservative person inside,a christian, always insisting on value with long time, sticking on the margin through thick and thin (eternality, peace :D ) .
I feel much comfortable to learn a lot from blast and other guys here. :o
Also, put all my savings into stocks following blast's portfolio.

Hi everybody,

I am not domiciled in USA, and I like to invest in distressed situations (deep value investing) in emerging markets (but the companies has to be listed in G7 countries) and special situation (event-driven).

In the last four years I have invested in Argentina, Brazil , South Africa, Canada and USA, besides that in companies listed in Vancouver which have operations in Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Bolivia mainly in the mining sector.

I belong to very few forums, because most of them are a waste of time.

Regards,

Lmcmarco
