Value Investing Forum goes Blogging for everyone!
Hi Value Investing Forum Folks,

Value-Investing-Forum.com (VIF) now enabled blogging feature in the forum. With blogging feature, you can write your personal journals online and be read by hundreds and thousands of VIF and affiliated BlastInvest.com fellow investors.

Cost: FREE. Blog feature does not even cost your VIF points.

Who is eligible for VIF Blog?

First of all, our intention is to offer a FREE blog to every member of Value Investor Forum. However, we put some small burden below to discourage those spammers. So please understand that if you want a blog, it is very easy to get it, and we want to give it to you!

Rule: Currently we only offer paid subscribers of BlastInvest BIRTP newsletter or forum members who earned at least 1000 points or members who participated or will participate in at least one writing contest.

The easiest way to qualify for free blogging feature is to join monthly writing competition. Just post a short note of any topic related to value investing in our contest board, and then you are qualified to get FREE blog.

Another quick way is to earn 1000 points by referring one friend to join our forum and immediately get 1000 points once your friend register. Click "Reward Center" -> find "Control Panel" (left box, Referral Options) -> click "invite friends" and then send referring email. The referring email will have your ID in it for your friends to sign up. Or you can post articles slowly in forum to earn that 1000 points. Check our reward program for details:

To apply for blogging feature, just click "Usergroups" in upper right corner of menu and apply for "VIF Blogger" group from there. Once you are approved, you do not have to maintain 1000 VIF points or continue to join the contest for the blogging feature.

Restrictions on blog
Forum restrictions apply to your Blog as wells. Generally we do not allow adult, or sex related topics, or illegal gambling topics. We also does not allow content of copyright violation.

Although you are free to start any topic in your blog, we certainly prefer that you have at least one post in your blog related to finance, money or value investing. We also expect that your blog respects long term oriented value investing practice in general although you may not agree with the method personally.

4 levels of permission to read or reply in blog:
guest: non-registered vistors
registered: registered value-investing-forum.com members
friends: add or delete list of value-investing-forum.com member username. You can restrict your blog to friends only.
blog owner: yourself.

Images: Feature of uploading image file is disabled. However, you can use BBCode to put image or gragh in your blog, where the image or graph is web URL.
