kkd - Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Hi, Blast:
My friend suggests KKD to me, Warren Buffett has some shares in this company. Recently it is involved in bond freud. A few months ago Buffett promised to get more when the price was around $5 then. So, what's your
comment on this stock?
Thanks.

Why do you believe that Buffet invested in this stock?

Here is the list of Buffet stocks from gurufocus:

In this March, one of my frineds told me this stock, it was his broker that told him Warren Had some shares. After a few days, KKD fell to around $5, I checked the news, then found one which said that Warren claimed to owned more if it still droped. Immediately, KKD increased back to $7.5.

Now, I couldn't find this news. Sorry.

Whatever, Do you think KKD is worthy? Thank you a lot.

No, I do not like this stock KKD.

The stock is in trouble with all kinds of problems. bankcruptcy filing news, management issues, accounting problems.

Actually, above problems are not the problem for me if the stock is cheap. The problem for me on this stock is that KKD is not cheap enough. The stock is not worth its stock price in my opinion. It did not have good cash flow before or now, it does not have good asset to back its stock price. All it had was past aggressive growth, which is not worth that much.

Very risky and expensive stock. My opinion is "avoid".
