I don’t know whether it is appropriate to ask this question.
Where did you open your account? I noticed that you paid $10 commission for any order. I currently use Scottrade. But Scottrade charges extra for stock under $1. Any suggestion on choosing brokerage? Thanks.

Hi wu90034,

Are you referring to model portfolio transaction? That portfolio is not real brokerage account, it is just model.

The $10 fee was just for illustration purposes, it may not be real in a brokerage account.

I do not know that much about brokers, good or bad.

You can certainly shop around comparing fees and services.
