seeking a good value fund company Tweedy Browne said the company is using value investing to find good investment for its customers. However, from their prospectus, their global value fund and american value fund do not run well. By comparing the performances with SP500 / MSCI EAFE index, they barely run a little bit over. Anyone has an opinion? By the way, if we know that oil/energy price is high /and will be higher in the period of 2005 -- 2020? we should invest 50% money (e.g. IRA ) into specific funds in this area. :P |

Tweedy Browne has pretty nice value investing education material there so that I posted those articles there.
But there are so many value mutual funds there available. Tweedy Browne may not have the best performing value fund. |
