It's been in the news quite a bit and also on some of the investment blogs out there. Good things are expected from telecom in the emerging markets. Stock such as VIP, TOMO, HTX, BRP, VSL would be a few candidates in this category. A few of them also turn up on the morningstar screen for better than average 5 year expected EPS. Would be interested to know what your thoughts are on their valuations. Thanks blast_investor Fri Jan 06, 2006 5:31 pm       Hi vik589, My opinion is to avoid the stocks in your list. Many of these stocks are foreign telecom stocks that I do not have ways to study them. Second part is the valuation and business model issue. I do not find telecom stocks attractive in either of these 2 parts.
