A place to discuss related books/magazines/newsletters etc.? I have been a passive investor following your newsletter for about one year. My plan is to learn more value investing knowledge while following you.
While many of the posts on the forum are pretty useful, I would like to learn something more systematically. It would be good for us if there is someplace in one of the boards to discuss related books, magazines, newsletters, websites etc. I searched the current boards, but it seems there is no such info. Did I miss something? I think it is a good idea to create a new board, or just modify an existed board to include discussion of such information.
Thanks

Hi jiantao,
Can you be more specific for the purpose of the board you are proposing? |

Actually, a new board may be too much. Modify one should be enough. For example, change "Value investing tools" to "Value Investing tools and books". Some of the posts, if good for newcomers, can be cross-posted at the board like "Geting Started -for new investors"
I am suggesting a place for newcomers of value investing to acquire information about where to start. :
1. What are the classic books?
2. New books.
3. Disscuss the con/pro of the books.
4. Disscuss what you have learned from the books.
5. Other investing related magazines/newsletters/papers/...
6. Related websites... |

I see, it is more like value investing related resource board.
We can change the value investing tools board into
value investing tools and resources.
Resource topics can be pretty wide, magazines, books,
web site information, etc.
Currently, the tool board is pretty quiet, it is better to host that topic there.
Discussion of value investing method in the books can be hosted in value investing board.
