I did quick look at it and I can not find it from chicago option exchange or Yahoo.

You can call your broker to get quote from it.

BRK/A or BRK/B is very large company, broker would know option trading on it.

1. There is no option on BRKA/B.
2. Even if there is, it's suicide to trade them.

You have to understand how option works before you do it.

Agree with grus2003 on danger of option trading.

Option is usually not suitable for conservative investors.

On the other hand, I do believe BRK/A or BRK/B has leap available for trading. The reason is that I read a report recently from value investing congress that one hedge fund manager was pushing for leap of Birkshire.

Not sure if any option exchange would like to introduce options on brka/b since it's hard for them to make money on this mainly because
1. demand is low, maintanence cost is high relative to the premium collected & money from bid/ask spread.
2. volume of brka/b stock trading is too low, it's hard to get stock shares to deliver.

Take a look at GOOG options, billions of money get involved. Both exchange & brokers can make big money on it.

Unless Buffet does a 1:100 stock split, I don't think there would be brka/b options in foreseeable future.

This guy is crazy, holding 5-year $80000 calls @30000. I believe Buffet will be mad if he heard of this story.

He will have a much better chance to make money by switching his money to GOOG call/put.
