I have been bullish on energy and oil sector since early last year. I continue to be quite bullish on this sector right now. The whole sector valuation is cheaper than other sectors.

I can not find XTL ticker. Burlington (BR) is cheaper stock than Pioneery (PXD) or ChevronTexaco (CVX) and I tend to prefer a cheaper stock in the same sector.

Any way, you have to do some homework yourself to pick them although energy sectors overall are very cheap with decent earning growth.
