9% divident -- EN Enel S.p.A. is an electricity company in Italy, which is engaged in the generation, distribution, sales and transmission of electricity. The stock gained quite a bit in the past 6 months, but the divident is 9%:-)
Blast, does this qualify as a value buy? Is currency a factor in the stock's rise?

Electricity is typically highly regulated business in US, or China or probably everywhere else. US utility regulartion is pretty complicated already.
I do not know that much about Italy's government regulation so that I would avoid a stock like this. |
